Staples Giving Back to the Community

The team at Northern Light Eastern Maine Medical Center is overwhelmed with gratitude! So many people and businesses have reached out to us to donate new and unopened Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Thank you!

Like many hospitals across the United States, we continue to face a critical shortage of surgical and N-95 masks, and face shields. Based on the guidelines established by the Centers for Disease Control, these masks and shields offer the best protection to our frontline caregivers as we prepare for a surge of COVID-19 patients in Maine. And, now our friends at the Staples in Bangor are making it easier than ever to drop off these types of donations.

They’ve set up a collection bin as you walk into the store, and they’re generously delivering the donations to EMMC.

We’re so thankful for their support. The team at the Bangor Staples has come to our rescue so many times through the years when we’ve needed things printed for events – and, always at the last minute :)! And, today, they’re all in and happy to help, because kids can’t wait!
